Kitchen display and table self-order for F&B

Overview

tensorKitchen is the kitchen display and table companion for F&B businesses running tensorPOS. When a sale is saved in POS (and the connection toggle is on), the kitchen queue gets a live alert with order lines. Guests can also scan a table barcode to open a simplified cashier and send orders straight to the kitchen.

Manage tables with reserved status, generate a QR code per table, and configure venue preferences plus the tensorPOS connection under Preferences. Sign in with tensorAM — access with tensorKitchen, tensorPOS, or tensorFinance license. Mobile and desktop friendly at kitchen.tensorerp.com.

Who it is for

Restaurants, cafes, and F&B counters that need a kitchen display (KDS), reserved tables, and guest self-order tied to tensorPOS.

Common use cases

  • Kitchen display — Mount a tablet in the kitchen to see dine-in and takeaway tickets as cashiers save sales.
  • Table QR order — Print QR stickers so guests order from their phones without waiting for a waiter.
  • Reservations — Mark VIP or walk-in tables as reserved before service starts.
  • POS + kitchen sync — Keep one toggle in Preferences so only F&B branches push tickets to kitchen.
